Privacy Policy — Dhikr Reminder

Dhikr Reminder is a Chrome extension that displays periodic reminders containing short Islamic remembrances (dhikr) with Arabic text, transliteration, English meaning, and a repetition counter.

Data Collection

Dhikr Reminder does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. The extension does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising of any kind.

Data Storage

The extension stores your preferences (reminder interval, selected display/monitor, and display mode) using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.sync). This data is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed into Chrome, synced across your own devices via your Google account. This data is never sent to any external server or third party, and is not accessible to the developer.

Permissions

• alarms — used to schedule reminders at your chosen interval.
• storage — used to save your settings as described above.
• system.display — used to detect your connected monitors so you can choose where reminders appear.
• notifications — used only if you select the "quiet notification" display mode.

Third-Party Services

This extension does not load any remote code, fonts, or scripts. All fonts and assets are bundled locally within the extension package.
